Addie Blosser Parsons, 97, of Barberton, Ohio, formerly of Pigeon, W.Va., died Nov. 6, 2003, at her home after a long illness.
She was born April 19, 1906, at Triplett, W.Va., the daughter of the late Charles and Vina Falls Blosser. She was also preceded in death by her husband, John Lee Parsons; sons, Frank and James Parsons; daughter, Emogene Parsons Lloyd and Faye Hall; brothers, Romie and Lewis Blosser; sisters, Ada Daniels, Annie Bruno, Dellie Boggs, Nellie Carter and Dicie Blake.
She was a member of the Church of Christ and a homemaker.
She is survived by her sons, Paul Parsons of Arnoldsburg, W.Va., Robert Parsons of Pigeon and John Parsons of Bolivia, N.C.; daughters, Carol Deutscher of Fackler, Ala., and Vina Thurmer of Barberton, Ohio; several grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren.
Service will be 2 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 9, 2003, at Matics Funeral Home, Clendenin, with the Rev. Jack McCune officiating. Burial will be at the Laurel Point Cemetery, Newton.
