The Calhoun County Wood Festival will likely be making some major changes affecting the future of the annual event.
The Wood Festival membership will be voting on November 13th to dissolve the
long-time festival corporation, and create a new entity - the Grantsville Lion's Club
Wood Festival.
Secretary Nikki Boatwright said the Lions Club has been a long time partner with
the community celebration, and the change will help insure the festival's growth
and future.
The meeting will be held at 5 p.m. at the Calhoun County Courthouse Little Courtroom.
Meetings are open to the public.
The regular meeting will be followed by a Special Meeting, for the dissolution of Calhoun County Wood Festival,
Incorporated.
