If you thought it was hot yesterday. It was. It was the warmest November day of
record, near 83 degrees, said the National Weather Service.
This was the sixth straight day of warm weather in the region.
The summer was not hot, producing only two 90 degree days the year, the fewest
hot days since record keeping started in 1901.
Charleston has already received 49 inches of rain this year, 5 inches more than
normal for a full year.
Rain is beginning to fall this morning.
Nighttime temps will fall into the 30s and 40s in the next 48 hours.
