John William Falls, 72, of Grantsville, WV, died Thursday, March
29th. at Camden Clark
Memorial Hospital, Parkersburg.
Born at Beech, Calhoun County, he was a son of the late George and
Bertha May Falls. He
was a US Air Force Veteran of the Korean War. He operated the
Veteran's Van in Grantsville.
Surviving Mr. Falls are his wife, Lona Cottrell Falls and daughter
Sheila Butler of Grantsville;
two sons, Duane Falls of Windsor, NY and John Norman of Orma, WV;
three sisters, Rosie
Hicks and Millie Bishop of Arnoldsburg, WV and Lilly Butler of
Minnora, WV; two brothers,
Arnold Ray Falls of Arnoldsburg and Herman Falls of Grantsville; 9
grandchildren, 1 great
grandchild, 4 step grandchildren and 11 step great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Everette, Thurman and
Holbert Falls; a
half-brother, Ira Jarvis; a sister, Orva Wayne and a half-sister, Lula
Keaton.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, April 1 at 1:00 p.m. at Stump
Funeral Home, Grantsville.
Evangelist Corley Miller will officiate. Interment will be in the
Bailey Cemetery, Minnora. Friends
may call at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. Saturday.
