Thieves broke into a restricted area at Dominion Gas in Grantsville sometime
Thursday night, according to manager Dottie Williams.
They reportedly stole up to four wheels and tires from vehicles, jacking-up at least
one truck to remove the tires, leaving it on blocks.
The thieves apparently climbed over a fence to reach the company vehicles.
It was the second time in several months the company has been invaded. In an
earlier incident, a four-wheeler was taken after a security fence was cut. The thief
was caught.
Vandals struck Denzil Dye's used car lot on Route 5 east of Grantsville, reportedly
slashing well over 50 tires.
Authorities are investigating the incidents.
