William C. Parks, 87, of Parkersburg died at his residence Thursday, Oct. 23, 2003. He was born in Calhoun County, a son of the late David Franklin Park and Minnie G. Burns Park Overholt.
He retired from the Keene Corp., formerly Penn Metal in Vienna. He was a member of the Vienna Baptist Church and the Vienna Lions Club.
He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. John (Maleta K.) Miller of Vienna; one son, Charles William Parks of Summitt; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one sister, Ethel Morse of Maine; and one brother, Bernard Park of Barberton, Ohio.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Maleta M. Jarvis Parks; one daughter; twin infant sons; two sisters; and three brothers.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Monday at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Vienna, with Rev. Nathan E. Williams officiating. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery in Williamstown. Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday and until the time of service Monday at the funeral home.
