| Willard (Pete) Kerby died Thursday October 23, 2003 at the age of 92. He was a resident of Mt. Zion, Calhoun County.
He was born July 21, 1911 in Calhoun County to George and Eva Gainer Kerby.
He was retired from the South Eastern Gas Company as superintendent. He worked the oil fields of the area all his life.
He was a member of the Mt. Zion Methodist Church and was a founding member of the Lemuels Run Hunting Club.
He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Mildred Stump Kerby.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, October 26 at 2 p.m., at Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville. Rev. Rick Swearingen will officiate, Interment will be in the Bethlehem Cemetery at Grantsville. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday. |
