| Evelyn M. Tingler, 75, of Grantsville, West Virginia, died October 21, 2001 at her home.
Born in Calhoun County, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Bessie Holbert freed. She attended the Bethesda Baptist Church in Palestine.
Surviving are two daughters, Sharon Curkendall and Violet Bell, both of Parkersburg; 2 sisters, Vonetta Rees of Brookpark, Ohio and Irene Byrd of Plantersville, Alabama; 4 grandchildren, Stephanie Workman, Renee Peters and Tim Parsons, all of Parkersburg, and Nicki Habecker of Douglassville, Pennsylvania; 6 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Tingler; brothers, Eugene and James Freed; and sisters, Ada Hosey and Dollie Cox.
Funeral services will be held Monday, October 27 at 11 a.m. at Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville. Rev. David Morris will officiate. Interment will be in the Hunt Cemetery at Big Bend. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday. |
