The body of a Braxton County resident who was missing for about a week was
found stuffed in a trash can in Kanawha County.
Authorities have notified the family of Roy Glen Lloyd, 55, that he had been found
dead Thursday night.
The body was found along the bank of the Kanawha River in Jefferson, by a man
staying at a motel. Darrell McNeely told police that when he lifted the duct-taped
lid off the container, he spotted blue pants and off-white socks on the body.
The
body was shoved head-first into the plastic container, and was wrapped in a bloody
white sheet held by duct tape.
The body was found behind Bannum Place, a house that had been used as a
halfway house for recently released convicts.
