| Dorothy E. Brown, 83 of Lockney, Gilmer County, WV died Monday, March
26th. at Sunbridge
of Glenville.
Born at Shock, Gilmer County, she was a daughter of the late William
Hubert and Sarah Bell
Meadows May and was a homemaker.
Surviving Mrs. Brown are two daughters, Nora Nichols of Lockney and
Hazel McCumbers of
Rosedale, WV; three step-sons, Butch Brown, Robert Brown and Kenneth
Brown all of
Massillon, Ohio; three step-daughters, Shirley Barnhart, Linda Bennett
and Thelma Martin all of
Massillon, Ohio; a sister, Iva Miller of Letter Gap, WV; eleven
grandchildren, seventeen step
grandchildren, twenty two great grandchildren, a great great grandson
and several step great
grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by husbands, Charles O. Hopkins, Fred Wiant
and Wiiliam Walter
Brown; a daughter, Ninia Jean Wornica: a step-daughter, Hazel Geibel
and a brother, Russell
May.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at stump funeral
Home, Grantsville.
Evangelist Richard Vanhorn will officiate. Interment will be in the
Turner Cemetery, Lockney.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday. |
