The old church is getting a much needed face lift ...
... including concrete works and a walkway ...
... with volunteer help from SC church
The Sycamore Baptist Church on the Mt. Zion Ridge is getting a face-lift and some much needed improvements, with help from a South Carolina church group.
The church was closed for several years until it was re-opened in 2003 with the help of Rev. Will Finley of Elmira, Braxton County.
A youth group, eight kids and five chaperone's, from the Bessie Road Baptist Church in Piedmont, South Carolina, will be here all week doing everything from painting to concrete work.
The church first received a new roof, some time ago, but now the building is getting a makeover, thanks to the SC volunteers who also raised funds for the project.
Regular church services are scheduled every Sunday.
