Hattie Evelyn Parsons, 82, of Spencer died Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2003 at her home following a short illness.
She was born in Richwood, a daughter of the late Bill and Ava Trout Cook.
She was a homemaker and member of Bethel Baptist Church, Amma.
She is survived by her husband, Guy C. Parsons; three sons, Robert Webb of Walton, Richard Webb of Amma and Fred
Webb of Mansfield, Texas; one daughter, Linda Meadows of Spencer; two brothers, Bob Cook of Canton, Ohio, and
Billy Cook of Parkersburg; three sisters, Madge Daugherty of Belle, Betty Wade of Yawkey and Barbara Payne of
Elkview; nine grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Ronald Webb; three brothers, Sam, Frank and Buster
Cook; and two sisters, Gladys Cottrell and Mable Heilmann.
Service is 11 a.m. Friday, October 3, at John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, with Rev. J. Herbert Smith
officiating. Burial will be in Clover Cemetery. Friends may call 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
