Nancy Bremar, Nutrition Outreach Instructor for the West Virginia Family Nutrition Program, which is sponsored by
the West Virginia University Extension Service, announces that fall classes are now forming.
In partnering with the Community Resources, Inc. class schedules and times: Beginning on Tuesday, October 14th and
continuing for seven weeks, the once a week classes will be held at the CRI Offices and will be held from 6-8 p.m. A
second class will be starting on October 15th and continuing for seven weeks. These classes will also be held at the CRI
Offices and will be held from 11 a.m. -1 p.m.
The Family Nutrition Program is not new. It is beginning the fifth year of providing Nutrition Education to limited
resource families in Calhoun County with more than 200 individuals and families having already participated.
Each class will be fun and enjoyable as well as informative with participants doing hands on cooking. Just for participating
one will receive hundreds of recipes, many informative brochures and several items of free food to take home and
prepare. The best thing is that the classes are free of charge and open to anyone who is interested.
Pre-registration is not needed but if you have any questions you can call the WVU Extension Service Office of Calhoun
County at 354-6332 and ask for Nancy.
