| Calhoun County Department of Highways supervisor Glenn Hanlin, 59, of Chloe is
recovering from a massive infection which resulted from a ruptured appendicitis.
Hanlin has been a patient in Thomas Memorial Hospital in South Charleston since
September 8, after becoming ill a week before with what he thought was stomach
flu.
"He's not one to complain," said his wife.
Hanlin has undergone numerous surgeries, but he is expected to be released from
the hospital this week.
