The eastern section of West Virginia is expected to receive major rainfall by week's end from hurricane Isabel, according to the National Weather Service.
Mythologist Alan Rezek said "What we're looking for right now is probably four-to-six inches in the eastern panhandle and in the northern mountains, two-to-four inches anyway."
The central and eastern sections will get rainfall and possible thunderstorms.
The National Weather Service said the storm will probably take the path that has been projected. all week. Isabel's rain is expected to hit West Virginia late Thursday night and continue through Friday morning.
The rainfall will cause flooding, severe in some areas.
The system will be fast moving.
Actual flooding in affected areas will peak over the weekend.
