This is what it's all about - mouth watering apple butter
It takes hours and hours of mixin' and stirrin'
The Third Annual Heritage Week started Monday at the Calhoun County Committee
of Aging. Yesterday was apple butter day, an activity that commenced at 7 a.m.
and was not completed until late in the evening.
Today there will be buggy rides (in old fashioned dress) starting at 10:30 a.m.
Thursday is "Old Fashioned Entertainment Day."
Seniors Roberts, Richards and Johnson supervise from across the road, and
offer tasting services
"I think it needs another ten pounds of sugar," say the McCormicks
