| The left-over contents of the old Calhoun County High School are being removed
for a final clean-out, says Hagan Richards. Workers and a dump truck have been
doing the removal for the past several days.

Richards said the old chairs from the school will be given away this Thursday and
Friday (September 18-19) from 8:30 a.m. until noon.
Richards said if folks would like to have a memento of the school, the chairs will be
free.
Richards and his son, Dan, recently purchased the old structure and plans are in
the making to develop the historic school into housing.
