Delford "Buck" Kerns, 86, died Sunday, September 7, 2003 at Miletree Center in Spencer,
WV, following an extended illness.
He was born in Calhoun County, a son of the late George B. and Della Gay Kerns.
He retired from Boeing Company in Wichita Kansas and served in the US Army for four
years being discharged February 14, 1946 with the rank of Sergeant.
Delford had done a lot of work in the taxidermy field and continued some taxidermy work
after returning to Calhoun County from Kansas.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Eula Hall Kerns.
Graveside services will be held at the Barr Cemetery, near Grantsville, WV Tuesday,
September 9 at 11 a.m.
Stump Funeral Home, Arnoldsburg are in charge of arrangements.
