West Virginia's unemployment rate was on the rise in 44 counties last month.
Wirt County had the highest unemployment for the second straight month with 18.4
percent.
Other counties with double-digit unemployment (percent) were:

Ritchie, 11.1
After unemployment benefits run out, the unemployed person is no longer counted in the statistics.
