More murder in Kanawha.
Two people were killed late Thursday might in separate shootings outside Kanawha County convenience stores.
They became the third and fourth killings on a bloody Thursday.
A woman was gunned down while pumping gas at a Campbells Creek convenience store about 10:20 p.m., while another person was shot about an hour later outside a Cedar Grove Go-Mart about 10 miles away.
Last Sunday night, a South Charleston resident George Carrier Jr., 34,was killed while using a pay telephone outside a Go-Mart.
In the Campbells Creek shooting, a woman was dead next to her red Pontiac Firebird, pumping gasoline at a Speedway Super America.
Two people were murdered early Wednesday morning on Charleston's west side, the
bodies found in a car with the motor running.
Police say 27-year-old Duane Harris and 19-year-old Danielle Thrift were discovered
about 3 a.m. on Charleston's west side.
Sergeant Brent Webster says Charleston police have a possible description of a
suspect.
The Daily Mail reports that Harris had been charged with 13 felonies and 27
misdemeanors since 1994, including some drug-related charges.
Harris and his twin brother were well-known to authorities.
The county's murder count has reached at least 15, with several dozens of shooting.
