Ronald Eugene "Chipper" Carpenter, 34, of Elizabeth, West Virginia, formerly of McFarlan,
WV, died July 24, 2003.
He was born in Grantsville, a son of the late Barbara Ann Carpenter. He worked in the timber
industry and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his father, two brothers, Edward (and Annalisa) Dobbins, and Richard
(and Brenda) Dobbins; two sisters, Peggy (and Danny) Elliott, and Pamela Lownsbery and
family; 7 nieces, 4 nephews, 1 great-niece, several aunts and uncles. He is also survived by
very close friends, Junior and Elaine Knight, "whom loved him as their own."
He was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Ann Carpenter in 2000.
Funeral services will be held at Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville, WV on Monday, July 28 at
2 p.m. Pastor Charlene Spaur will officiate. Interment will be in Beech Grove Cemetery, Nicut,
WV. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from noon until the hour of service, Monday.
