Edwin Starcher (1873-1919) of Rocksdale, Calhoun County Road Engineer, submitted this list of tools he had purchased for road building, an inventory of all equipment and implements owned by the county and districts, early 1900s.
Starcher was among the first recorded highway fatalities in the county, working on his job.
