| Estal V. Haught, 84, of Macfarlan, W.Va., went to be with her Lord July 15, 2003, at her residence after an extended illness.
She was born Sept. 21, 1918, in Brohard, the daughter of the late Harry and Pansy Barnette Veon. She retired from Cairo Manufacturing after 13 years of service and was a member of Strait Creek Baptist Church, Brohard. She was an avid quilter and loved to crochet.
She is survived by two grandchildren, Delphord and Marilyn Jenkins of Macfarian and Cheryl and Jeff Rice of Phoenix, Ariz.; five great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and four sisters, Mona Welham of Harrisville, Wilda Dye of Brohard, Norma Rollins of Harrisville and Carol Rollins of Cairo.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Delphord Haught; three daughters, Lucretia Joe Haught, Artmetia Haught and Dotty Lou Haught; and two sisters, Glenna Goodnight and Isabelle Darling.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Raiguel Funeral Home, Harrisville, with the Rev. Kevin Phillips officiating. Burial will follow in the Hartley Cemetery, Brohard. Friends may call from 1-9 p.m. today and 9-11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
