Eva Jewell White, 76, of Ravenswood, West Virginia, died July 11 in Ravenswood Village.
Born in Gilmer County, she was a daughter of the late Edgar and Clara Stump Cook. She was
a retired cook at Calhoun General Hospital and served as a foster grandparent at Pleasant
Hill and Ravenswood elementary schools with 18 years service. She was a member of the
First United Pentecostal Church of Ravenswood.
Surviving are one daughter, Wilma Drennen of Ravenswood, 2 grandchildren and three great
grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Ruffner White.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at Stump Funeral Home, Arnoldsburg. Rev.
David Johnson will officiate. Interment will be in the Rosedale Cemetery at Rosedale. Friends
may call at the funeral home from 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday.
