Calhoun's 911 Center has been struck by lightning again.
One of the main locator computers was knocked out, according to dispatcher Joe Tanner."We switched to other back-up equipment," he said.
Two TV sets were also destroyed, one in the 911 center and another used by Calhoun EMS.
The center had to replace a computer after a power surge during last winter's ice storm.
The center has been struck by lightning several times, damaging equipment, although numerous efforts have been made to improve protection.
