Maude Elizabeth (Lizzie) Campbell, 93, of Sand Ridge, West Virginia, died July 3 in Minnie
Hamilton Heath Care Center, Grantsville.
Born at Stumptown, Gilmer County, she was a daughter of the late Dave and Nellie Mace
Shaffer. She was a member of the United Pentecostal Church and was a homemaker.
Surviving are one son, David Campbell and his wife, Vickie of Lewisville, North Carolina; three
daughters, Georgia Vannoy and her husband, Frank of Reedy, WV, Tessie Smith and her
husband, Dennis of Jackson, Georgia, Ruth and her husband, Sam of Fort Washington,
Maryland; two sisters, Mollie Wood of Stumptown, WV and Myrtle Hickman of Logan, Ohio;
one brother, Harold Shaffer of Stumptown; 10 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Campbell; three brothers and three
sisters.
Funeral services will be held Monday, July 7 at 11 a.m. at the Apostolic Faith Tabernacle at
Grantsville, WV. Rev. Glen McBride will officiate. Interment will be in the Sand Ridge
Cemetery. Friends may call at the Stump Funeral Home in Grantsville from 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday
