The Mountain State Art and Craft Fair is a big event. It is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year. It will be held
Wednesday through Saturday at Cedar Lakes Conference Center just outside of Ripley.
The fair was first held in 1963, and attracts thousands every year.
More than 200 of the region's crafters and musicians are scheduled to attend this year's event, and more food vendors and
activities are scheduled than ever before.
It will be open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily.
The 31st West Virginia Interstate Fair and Exposition is scheduled for July 14-19 on Butcher Bend Road, Mineral
Wells.
Tracy Bird and Mark Wills are among the many performers for the event.
Daily tickets to the fair grounds is $8.
