James L. Clevenger, 82 of Doylestown, Ohio, died Monday, March 12th.
in Doylestown Health
Care Center.
Born in Webster County, WV, he was a son of the late John W. and Mandy
Katherine Schrader
Clevenger. He was a US Army Veteran of WW II and served in the North
African, Sicilian,
Northern France and Germany Campaigns.
He was retired from General Motors Corporation, Parma, Ohio with 33
years service. He was a
member of the Disabled American Veterans and the Doylestown Post of
the American
Legion.
Surviving Mr. Clevenger are his daughter, Zelma Abraham and grandson,
Nicholas Abraham
both of Doylestown, a sister, Nora Clevenger of Baltimore, Maryland
and a brother, Junior
Clevenger of Webster Springs, WV.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Opal Starcher Clevenger.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 11:30 a.m. at Stump Funeral
Home, Grantsville. Rev.
Rick Swearingen will officiate. Interment will be in the Mt. Zion
Cemetery, Mt. Zion, WV. Friends
may call at the funeral home from 6-9 p.m. Thursday.
