CLAY WOMAN'S BODY FOUND IN CEMETERY - Police Make Arrest Over Meth Lab

An investigation is underway after the body of a Clay County woman was reportedly discovered in a cemetery Friday evening.

The body was identified as a middle aged woman, Linda Woods Summers Lane,44, a former postmaster in the county.

A missing persons report had been filed on the woman.

Police said she was found near a car which she had apparently been driving.

The Braxton County medical examiner was called to the scene on Hansford Fork, a short distance from State Route 36 in the Valley Fork area.

The mobile crime lab was dispatched to the scene, and State Police were still on location Saturday afternoon.

State Police discovered a meth lab in the Leatherwood section of Clay County on Wednesday, and reportedly made three arrests late Friday night.

Reports said those taken into custody included Glen McClain, Lori McClain and Mark Anthony Stone. They were taken to Central Regional Jail.

The Clay Communicator reported numerous other incidents during the full moon cycle and Friday the 13th.
