Eva Virginia Robinson, 83, of Nobe, Calhoun County, West Virginia, died June 10th in Roane
General Hospital, Spencer.
Born in Calhoun County she was a daughter of the late Andy and Mary West Kight. She was a
homemaker and a member of Chapel Baptist Church at Nobe.
Surviving are two daughters, Mary Virginia Metz of Grantsville, WV and Genevieve Davis of
Nobe; three sons, Randolph and Melvin Robinson both of Nobe and Terry Robinson of
Parkersburg, WV; five sisters, Betty Husk of Buckhannon, WV, Edith Cogar of Ohio, Caroline
Gardner of Morgantown, WV, Bernice Cox of Youngstown, Ohio and Hester Curry of Mt. Zion,
WV; two brothers, Bob Kight of Akron, Ohio and Mike Kight of Alabama.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Waitman Robinson and one daughter, Lorraine
Robinson; two brothers, Walter and Charlie Kight and a granddaughter, Charlene
Shuman.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Chapel Baptist Church, Nobe. Rev. Lorous
Roberts will officiate. Interment will be in Nobe Cemetery. Friends may call at Stump Funeral
Home, Grantsville from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday.
