Mary M. Stewart, 73, of Glenville, West Virginia, died June 10th in United Hospital Center,
Clarksburg, WV.
Born at Lockney, Gilmer County, she was a daughter or the late Arnet and Bessie Jones
Collins. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Glenville and was a homemaker.
Surviving are one son, Jeffrey Stewart and his wife Deborah of Lockney and four
grandchildren, Mary Beth Sauer and her husband, George, Christopher Stewart and his wife
Charlene, Scott and Keith Stewart; one great grandchild, Christopher Ian Stewart; three
step-great grandchildren, Kaylah and Hanna Sauer and Rachel Stewart; two sisters, Betty
Kitzmiller of Parkersburg, Juanita Kerns of Weston; two brothers, Jerry Collins of North
Carolina and Duane Collins of Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Arlan Stewart in 1997 and one son,
James Howard Stewart.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. at Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville. Rev.
Mark Minney will officiate. Interment will be in the Collins Community Cemetery at Stumptown.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday.
