Elizabeth Ferguson Salisbury, 59, of St. Albans died June 3, 2003, in Thomas Memorial Hospital after a long illness.
She was preceded in death by her father, Jack M. Ferguson; and her brother, John Dale Ferguson, a retired state policeman.
She was retired from the John R. Mitchell Jr. Law Firm where she worked as a legal secretary. During her 37 years in the legal field, she worked as secretary to Circuit Court Judges Robert M. Harvey and Leo Catsonis. She was a past member of Order of the Eastern Star 79, St. Albans. She was a Baptist and a resident of St. Albans for 37 years.
She is survived by her husband, David Marshall Salisbury; her son, William Marshall "Bill" Salisbury of St. Albans; mother, Ernestine Ross Ferguson of Mount Zion; sister, Virginia Lee Ice of Pittsburgh, Pa.; and grandchildren, Christian and Madison Salisbury, both of St. Albans.
Services were held June 7, at Casdorph & Curry Funeral Home, St. Albans, with the Rev. Rick Swearingen officiating. Burial was in the Cunningham Memorial Park, St. Albans.
