2003 basket competition entries

This is the first year for the Wood Festival Basket Competition.
A winner was selected from the basket entries that have been judged by Ms. Betty
Nesselroad of Acorn's Crafts in Parkersburg.
Ms. Nesselroad is an accomplished Basket Maker and has chosen the 2003 Wood Festival Basket winner which was
announced during the Wood Festival Parade on Saturday June 7th.
The Wood Festival Committee would like to sincerely thank all the ladies who have donated a basket for the competition.
Kathryn Burrows, Marilyn Barr, Betty Craddock, Lori Wilson, Jo Mollendick, Garnet Barr, Imogene Hoskins, Faye Fitzwater. Calhoun County is extremely fortunate to have so many talented ladies in the community who are willing to donate their time and efforts. We have some beautiful basket makers and we appreciate their donations to the Wood Festival.
Thank you Kevin Miller for donating the 2003 Wood Festival Plaque which will be placed on the winning basket.
