| Bob Phillips' house near Munday Road and Deaver's Fork Road was just remodeled and carpeting installed, but now it's a muddy mess.
Popping boards and nails are pulling out as it settles off it's foundation, a victim of the heavy rain.
The family has been carrying out their items and putting them in a storage building.
Bob Phillips said his family has been staying up until 4:30 a.m. trying to do what they can.
The hill above their house began to slip after severe thunderstorms hit the area.
He said it's come in on the house and started shoving the house over. It burst the foundation. Phillips said the land above the hillside was logged for timber two years ago.
He says their home insurance will not cover "an Act of God."
