A Tariff man convicted of first degree murder did something at his sentencing hearing last week he never did during his
six-day trial.
He spoke.
Alex Vincent Golosow told Roane Circuit Judge Tom Evans, and others in courtroom last Thursday morning, that pre-trial
publicity made the verdict in his case certain.
"I feel I was convicted before I ever came to court," said Golosow, also known as "Tattoo Vince."
Golosow was found guilty in the slaying of Jud Reid, a man he once called his best friend.
"I want my friends and Jud Reid to know I am not guilty," Golosow said in the courtroom last week. "I don't feel I was given
a fair trial."
