| About 45% of the Class of 2003 at Calhoun High School received scholarship awards at last night's 79th commencement,
according to Principal Mike Offutt
There are 88 students in this years graduating class.
Offutt said students received $1,239,105.00 in awards this year, possibly a record amount. Last year the amount was about
$993,000.
CHS students who plan on attending a four-year college, two - year college, or a trade school is between 64-73% of the class,
while 4.5% of the students are entering the military.
