Those old books your grandparents gave you may be worth some big bucks, says Cindy Castle of the Roane County
Library.
The Roane County Friends of the Library
Organization (FOL) will be sponsoring a book appraisal clinic next Tuesday (June 3) at 7:30 p.m.
Jim
Presgraves, a book appraiser from Wytheville, VA with 40 years' experience
will be giving a short lecture and then appraising books for those in
attendance. The lecture is free, and then he will appraise books for a fee of
$5.
If you have some musty old books around your home and you believe they may be
valuable, here is your chance to find out.
"Come on out and join us at the library in Spencer
and let Mr. Presgraves give them a look. You just may be surprised at what
they're worth." said Castle.
