The Calhoun County Wood Festival will come to Grantsville June 5 through 7, with an array of hometown entertainment and
activities.
A highlight of each festival is the Queen Flora Pageant. The pageant will be held on Saturday, May 31, at 7 p.m. at
Calhoun Middle/High School auditorium.
This year the 41st Queen Flora will be chosen to reign over the festivities. The Hur Herald will feature each contestant in the
pageant beginning with, Miss Amber Michelle Williams.

Miss Amber Michelle Williams is the 17 year old daughter of Brenda Williams of Grantsville and Eric Williams of Glenville.
Amber is a member of the Calhoun High School Basketball Team and the Cross Country Team. She is a member of Mu
Alpha Theta Math Honorary. She also participates in SCAT and the Choir.
Outside of school activities, Amber is a "Lights On" Tutor, she enjoys baby-sitting, shopping and watching movies.
Amber's hobbies include fishing, camping, 4-wheeler riding, playing basketball, and "hanging out" with family and friends.
Amber plans to attend college, become an Elementary School Teacher and may consider moving out of
state.
