| Juanita Byrd, 77, of Parkersburg died May 7, 2003, at St. Joseph's Hospital.
She was born in Grantsville, a daughter of Hazel Greathouse of Spencer and the late Howard Greathouse. She was a homemaker and enjoyed craftwork and baking. She was a member of Edgelawn United Methodist Church, had attended Rayon United Methodist Church and attended church services conducted at Eagle Pointe as a resident.
She is survived by three sons, Tom, Bill and James Byrd, all of Parkersburg; two grandsons, Larry and Matt Byrd of Parkersburg; four brothers, Pete and John Greathouse of Cleveland, Ohio, Bud Greathouse of Fairmont and Jim Greathouse of Spencer; and two sisters, Pauline Matheny of Arnoldsburg and Marion Greathouse of Cleveland.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Byrd, who died March 11, 1989, and a brother, Gene Greathouse.
Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, south Parkersburg, with Pastor Gene Hutton officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memory Gardens. Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
