James E. Snyder, 76, of First Community Village of Columbus, Ohio died May 5, 2003.
He was born and raised in Grantsville, West Virginia. He was a graduate of West Virginia University, a Veteran of the U.S.
Navy, WW II, a retired accountant with Battelle Memorial Institute, and a member of First Community Church and the Civil War Roundtable.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy Vesper Snyder; nephew-in-law, Dr. Richard
(Patty) Vesper and their children, Kelsey, Kyle and Tricia (Joe) Collins.
He was preceded in death by his parents Isaac (Ike) and Grace Snyder of Grantsville. Ike, a veteran of WWI, was a member of the
draft board; sister and
brother-in-law Doris and Al Novik.
Memorial services will be held May 10th at
11 a.m. at First Community Church, 1320 Cambridge Blvd., Columbus,
Ohio. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service. The Rev. Dr.
James Long officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to
First Community Village Foundation, 1828 Riverside Dr., Columbus, Ohio
