Annual tea for mothers and daughters
The annual Mother-Daughter Tea was held yesterday evening at the Senior Center in
Grantsville. This year's program was "Hats Off To Mothers," and many of the
participants wore hats for the buffet supper.
Guest speaker Helen Morris gave a talk "Stop - You Can Be Replaced By A Button,"
and special music was presented by Shari Johnson and Charlotte Blair.

Several special activities included a hat and bonnet show, poetry and a picture
gallery. Awards were presented to the oldest mother and the mother with the most
children.
CCCOA Assistant Director Brenda McBride recognized the organizations board
members and Rev. Peig Schmitz delivered the benediction.
