Marie J. Mace, 84, of Washington, West Virginia a longtime resident of Arnoldsburg, died April 25, 2003, at her daughter's residence. She was born in Arnoldsburg, WV a daughter of the late Jesse and Pearl Evans Powell.
Mrs. Mace was retired from Spencer State Hospital as a nursing assistant. She was a member of the Summitt Valley United Methodist Church in Williamstown and a longtime member of the Louisa Chapel United Methodist Church at Arnoldsburg.
Surviving is her son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Hilda Mace of Vienna; two daughters and sons-in-law, Sharon Sue and Phillip Nicholas of Parkersburg and Pearl and Donald Bollinger of Washington; one brother, Jesse Powell of Barberton, Ohio; one sister, Velma Ferrell of Doyletown, Ohio; five grandchildren, Scott Bollinger, Nikki Bollinger, Tim Nicholas, Dickie Mace and Doug Nicholas; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Glen Mace; a granddaughter, Deanna Bollinger; five brothers; four sisters; and one son, Glen Mace Jr.
Funeral services were Monday at Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg. Pastor Jeff Nolte officiated. Interment was in Mace Cemetery, Calhoun County. |
