Lucille Wilmoth, 90, of Millstone died April 22, 2003, in White Sulphur Springs Family Care Center following a long illness.
Born in Calhoun County, she was a daughter of the late Lon and Mae Downs Powell. She was a member of Albert's Chapel United Methodist Church in Sand Ridge.
Surviving are one son and daughter-in-law, David and Nell Wilmoth of Kernersville, N.C.; one daughter and son-in-law, Shelia and Larry Burns of Marlinton, W.Va.; two brothers, Rue Powell of Arnoldsburg and Gale Powell of St. Albans; three sisters, Eva Burton of Parkersburg, Amy Hathaway of Grantsville and Emmaneel Montgomery of Columbia, S.C.; nine grandchildren, Donna Beeby, Linda Talley, Lisa Storrey, David Wilmoth, Patrick Burns, Michael Burns, Mathew Burns, Carrie Burns and Cathy Burns; and 12 great-grandchildren, Emily Burns, Katelynn Burns, Brandon Burns, Jenna Beeby, Jessyca Beeby, J. Scott Beeby, Jamie Simmons, Brandi Vanhoy, Virginia Wilmoth, Cassie Storrey, Jason Storrey and Andrew Burns.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thurl Wilmoth, and her parents.
Funeral services will be 11:30 a.m. Friday at Stump Funeral Home in Arnoldsburg. The Rev. Rick Swearingen will officiate. Interment will be in the Sand Ridge Cemetery in Sand Ridge. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Thursday and one hour prior to the services Friday at the funeral home.
