Robert F. Hardman, 71, of Tanner, West Virginia, died April 13th at the home of his daughter
in Vienna following a long illness.
Born October 23, 1931 in Gilmer County, he was a son of the late Earl and Elizabeth Hersman
Hardman. He was U.S. Navy veteran and was a former merchant in Tanner, having owned
and operated Hardman's Store for 10 years. He was a member of the Knights of Pythias
Lodge of Tanner.
Surviving are his wife, Leona Frymier Hardman; two daughters, Beth McMilleon of Vienna, WV
and Tami ann Hardman of Mineral Wells, WV; two sons, Robert E. Hardman of Tanner and
eric V. Hardman of Rockport, WV; 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 17 at 11 a.m. at Stump Funeral Home,
Grantsville, WV, with rev. Robert Nicholas officiating. Interment will be in the Mt. Liberty
Cemetery at Tanner. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday.
