Not unlike most Easter egg hunts, the race was a dash across the ball field at
Calhoun County Park, and it took just a few minutes. About 100 kids came yesterday
afternoon to enjoy the event sponsored by the local VFW 5959 Ladies Auxiliary.
If the thrill of hunting eggs would not have been enough, the auxiliary gave away
dozens of large Easter baskets filled with goodies, pizza and and other snacks.
