The Little Kanawha Area Development Corporation received a $30,000 grant for economic strengthening efforts in Wirt and Calhoun County.

Pleasants County acquired $30,000 to purchase property next to the Pleasants County Library, that's to be used for cultural, arts, and historical purposes.

Another $5,000 is going to Pleasants County to make improvements to the Pleasants County Safety Town, a safety training program for children.

Ritchie County was awarded $9,000 to continue repairs and improvements to the Ritchie County 4-H Camp.
