DRIVER INJURED IN TWO-VEHICLE COLLISION - West Fork Woman Taken To Hospital

The driver of a car received multiple injuries when her vehicle was involved in a collision with a pick-up truck yesterday. She was taken to Roane General Hospital in Spencer for treatment by Calhoun EMS shortly after the 2:30 p.m. accident.

The accident happened on Route 16 south of Arnoldsburg a short distance from the mouth of Crummies Creek.

Damage was extensive to both vehicles, said Deputy Sheriff Carl Ballengee who investigated.

The Arnoldsburg VFD also responded to the accident.
