Calhoun Middle School hosted Walton Tuesday night for the first round of the CWVAC tournament. The team also honored their eighth graders, Kole Persinger, Faith McClain, Tiara Rogers, and Brylie Wilson.
CMS A Team defeats Walton 19-25, 25-14, and 25-14
Kylie Caudill 17 points (3 aces), 2 digs, 1 kill; Faith McClain 16 points (7 aces), 3 digs, 4/4 sets; Brylie Wilson 11 points (6 aces), 4 digs, 1 kill, 1/1 set; Paige Sterns 11 points (3 aces), 9 digs, 1 kill, 1/1 set; Summer Rogers 7 points (1 ace), 4 digs, 1 kill; Kyla Myer 5 points, 3 digs, 1 kill, 1/1 set; Whitney Rogers 2 points; Addie Collins 6 digs; Kendall Snodgress 5 digs; Kayleigh Cunningham 4 digs.
The team will travel to South Harrison Wednesday night for round two of the CWVAC tournament.
