| Ronald (Ron) David Pettry 79 of Palestine WV went home to be with the Lord on October 14, 2021.
He was born April 16th, 1942 to the late Leo Anderson and Mary Lee Pettry in Coalsburg WV.
Ronald loved to sing, play music, and tinkering with things around the house. He loved his family as well as sitting outside their family home on the porch enjoying the fresh air.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by 3 brothers Kenneth (Donna), Donald (Anita), Lloyd (Teresa) Pettry; 2 sisters Deanna Pettry and Linda Pettry (Trader).
He is survived by his wife Violet Pettry of Palestine; 5 children, Violet (Scott) Radar (Sierra, Erica, Roman, Seth) of Annamoriah WV, Ronnie Pettry (Rean, Charlie) Jason Pettry (Shaylyn, Bridgett, Keila) of Elizabeth WV, Crystal Williams (Levi, Alex, Jaciee) of Palestine, Jermey Pettry (Bailey, Ryan) of Palestine, stepdaughter Renee Yost of Palestine (Ryder, Coal); 15 great grandchildren; 3 sisters, Wanda (Blair) Salsbury of Mineral Wells WV, Rita (Dale) Hurst of Elizabeth WV, and Shian (Don) Gordon of Saegertown PA.
His family will hold a graveside service at a later date.
