Over $100,000 has been donated by former students and citizens for the 1982 Project, toward the 3 million dollar revitalization plan of old Calhoun County
High School in Grantsville (closed in 1998), the new Calhoun County Community Center, led by former 1982 graduate Crystal Laughlin Mersh who has donated 1 million dollars to the project
